It is not always so easy to get someone out of your house. Even if they are not paying anything, you have to go through an eviction process. I had that happen to me once. No fun. :(

if she was paying you rent she is considered a tenant... but if nothing was signed - hmmmm -that is a hard one. and who knows how many keys she has made. have her arrested - has she stolen anything?
figured she could help me and I could help her. now I'm a landlord breaking all the rules! My house and the stuff in it..... my Queen.... I've always been one to over think and re-think and be smart abou things. fucking Pinks stopped my overactive mind. NOw look where its gotten me. Helped me not to kill myself but now I have a dis-respectful rotten teenager in my house with her boyfriend. Both of Which Have proclaimed they are staying the Night here!!!
The tenancy place isn't open till 8:30.....governement and all. Damn it! why couldn't they have been open at 5 when I couldn't sleep anymore?
Stick to your guns Kristi ... those tenancy laws (usually) have no real teeth anyway. Just keep her out and then the power lies with you ... her and her boyfriend can just go find there own place and thats that. Just make sure all her stuff is packed up and handed to her and nothing left behind. She is a boarder/lodger not a tenant. Do you guys have YMCA over there? She can go there cheap if so ... no big deal if other accommodation is available to her.

i've already got a line on getting the locks re-keyed SAturday.
She doens't have a key for the doorknob lock. That is how I was able to keep her out.
