I gave 2013 to a lot of people. The buyer for our house. The uterus dr that was going to get me pregnant. My Job and how much I make, like it and otherwise.
2014 is going to be about making stuff happen!
I found a piece of property on the outskirts of Mission that we have all become excited about. Found a contractor that moves mobile homes. Not only does he move the house, he prepares the land and hooks everything up once its placed! YES!
This land is 5 acres. Its sloped with a creek, its a water channel from the mountain above. Its has the most beautiful view of the pastures and farm land below. We could build a future there. Sure we would be moving the same small space that makes me crazy - however, easier to put on an addition on our small space placed on 5 acres than on a trailer park pad! Now its just about the numbers he comes back with how we make this work. Its even facing south/west! so we will get sun! YaY! I love sun! He, Jack, has been doing his research with the district and Geo reports to let us know how much work it will take to prepare this bushy, treed bare land. The well is done, but it needs septic and electric brought in. Its so far out, I am pretty positive there won't be hope of natural gas. That means switching everything over. Not the end of the world, just a lot of work and expense.
If its not this property, maybe we find another - at least we have done homework and will have a better understanding of what needs to be done. We have found that we are both on the same page about many things, this has been a wonderful discovery in our marriage!
So now we wait.
I got a raise! YaY! I am now making what I should have been making this last year! So yes, technically still behind a tad, but oh so much better. I have a bit of play money again. It's been years since I've had that. Can't wait to pay off my credit card! Wahoo! Tax season is upon us. I should be getting a healthy chunk back after all I had taken last year. This will also help with property/house buying. The only debt I will have will be my first mortgage and my car. This is ok!
Had the most Fabulous rejuvenating weekend of All time with my girlfriend. Oh My Gosh it was good. I can't believe how much we talked. I mean, 2 nights and a day and a half of talking! About everything in the universe! I Absolutely enjoyed it all. We had a spa weekend. Oh yes my facial was amazing! My skin is still glowing from it. I have felt so together all week after touching base like we did. Like re-energized! a Puzzle piece was missing ..... i dunno. Just good!
I have been so stuck in this little space for so long, pieces of me are dying. One of the pieces being my social side. So weird, i know, but it really is. In a job where I don't see people ....... hardly any customers ....... I have been trying to plan a date with my other girlfriend and it has just not worked out. I gotta figure it out! if I feel this great after one imagine how put together I will feel after touching base with another!??!
speaking of put together - i see that the morning is slipping away from me and I need to get my butt on the treadmill ................
