I personally have been a tech for various Beta projects--be cautious! Make sure you have backups of the vitals that you need before you start the switch :) Also there is usually a site set up with feedback from the developers and current Beta testers to let you know the potential issues.
When a certain large company switched their email system to Beta, people gladly signed up for it. Of course they didn't read that part that Beta's are TESTS and have flaws. I still get twitchy just thinking about all those emails of people freaking out...."why is is different??"...duh
I personally think the beta totally kicks. WAY better than the original. Easier to add pictures and customize your blog. so far no bugs to complain about.
but like shanna said. keep a copy of your template just incase you dont like.
I swapped early on and had so many probs with it I switched back (this was when you still could) I'm waiting for them to iron out all the kinks before I'll go there again.

Well, when I re-signed up, it automatically put me to beta.
So far it's been good. It's easier to alter the page. I like that part.
I haven't switched over yet. I was waiting for YOU to switch over and tell ME about any problems. LOL.
hmmmm.
well maybe I'll make the switch.
it keeps asking me to.
