Charley has been denied to the middle school. I don't have a plan B
my Dad is awesome. He is worried about my back and my job and my healing. SAid that if Boss man pulls any wankers he will make sure I have the money for a lawyer. I love my Dad

why was she denied? according to legislation - a student has the right to attend any school as long as that school can meet the needs of the child.
we are not in the catchment.
the school says they are at capacity for grade 6's
I told them that both my daycares on within catchment and as of next year she will be at my sisters for half the week. (she is within catchment & my second daycare)
She's on a waiting list.
What if we move within catchment? She'll still be on a waiting list.....

than I think well maybe this is just how it should be and I should let the chips fall where they will. but if she goes to the school within catchment its another french immersion and she will not know any of the English kids. So she will be away from all her friends.
The only school available to you is french immersion??? That is total BS! Go to your school board.
the government got rid of catchment - this is why I dont understand. now if they are at capacity, than yes, I understand - but catchment cannot be used.
this just sucks
