kinda been feeling like I want to leave my job.
the dresses. the ..... Nights there are not as good as they could be. the lack of communication. the fact that now I am forbidden to give refrences for staff. (like I've given soo many) The fact that one of the girls gave her 2 weeks so he just wrote her off the schedule! I am a well paid server. Which is fine. I can live with that. the part I can't live with is that, any time there is a disagreement he pulls out the manager card and holds it over my head. Apparently i am supposed to support him because of that. Even when he is being utterly ridiculous. I am not allowed to keep my street clothes folded and in the staff bathroom becaseu he says its a health issue. THEY'RE MY STREET CLOTHES!!!
Yet garbage bag after garbage bag, filthy sinks, bird poo on his street clothes behind the line is all okay. He just about Never wears his whites while cooking. Not to mention how he eats; off the line, off peoples plates........yet if i move my bangs out of my eye i am scolded and told to wash my hands. (as a manager I should know that!!!! I am told) What The Fuck! maybe i am just PMS'y

You have a killer body make no mistake, but those dresses are trashy! I am uncomfortable as a customer, and I am not even wearing it! I would speak to him if possible in a lay it on the line kinda way! You have more options now that you have mountain, maybe it is time for you to move on!
did the dress talk many moons ago......got nowhere. Its his way and thats final.
today - I took out some food. I came back and asked for a side of thousand island as the lady didn't like the raspberry.....he is just getting my next order ready....the fries are not even out of the fryer.....Kat starts getting my dressing for me. He stops her....as she begins to pour it....he had taken the fries out of the fryer and wanted her to plate them......she says "but the customer is waiting for the dressing. I jsut have to pour it"
NO KAT Plate the fries....she can take this first....(now keep in mind. The sandwiches hadn't even hit the plate yet they were just getting cut in half) i am waiting for the dressing for the people that are already into their meals.

this is just and example of what I think is wierd.
the other was with a staff member that ordered a seafood club for herself. a seafood club comes with Shrimp and SAlmon lettuce tomato on two pieces of bread. She altered it - she asked for it to come on a bun and to come with Chicken instead of SAlmon. She charged herself 3$ for the chicken.
He argued with the Chef making it and said that there was extra shrimp placed on it. He took it off and then expected her to pay for the difference of the bun. When she didn't he wrote her up for a 'bad attitude' and called her a thief. Keep in mind she didn't minus the cost of the salmon...she actaully paid 3bux extra for the chicken which is less in food cost!
i have and example about subbing veg and potato too and the two different times it cost two different amounts and how he charged the customer
We are not even allowed to use straws cuz they cost 3 cents each. Yet he makes us pay out for non-tipped take out orders, bar sales (that the kitchen has nothing to do with) Lord forbid a cracker comes back from an ordered soup unopened and we eat it. he flips a Lid!
and my favorite - when somwone comes in and he wants to take care of their bill for them.....I am not allowed to comp it 100%. I have to void it out of the system because he doesn't want to pay the GST!!!

Sounds like you need to take your VERY VALUABLE skills to somewhere else and be more appreciated.

i mean he is ridiculous with his punch all the people in that walk thru the door crap before I do ANYTHING else. Its the customer that suffers and doesn't get stuff fast enough. Especially at lunch.
I play jazz, disco, and 80's tunes at lunch. on the T.v is retro station with happy Days, FActs of Life, saved by the Bell......lunches Rock! My clientele love it!
Dinner.....they pop out my music and put in Soft/classic rock and have CNN or some other news station on.....once hockey starts that will be on......
Dinners suck butt! Sometimes they get a good night. Fridays used to Rock the Casba, but now its jsut another night.
skin tight black micro mini skirts and rock n'roll......its like like a Robert Palmer video only the hair is bigger.
i just want him to be on the floor and see it for how the rest of the world sees it. Maybe then he would understand why many women will not let their husbands take them there anymore
he says my uncomfortableness with the dress is because i am older......
