Grandad is still in hospital. He won't be coming home. Not to the home he knows. Mom has asked if i want Nana's living room suite. Grandad is waiting for a bed in extended care.....
he was thin when we saw him today. He held me for a long time when I hugged him. He just stared at Charley. She is so big. She is nearly 10

It is such a hard time... I hope when he goes it is peaceful and painless and he is happy with his beloved once agaian. Lots of love!

Death - even though we know it is a part of life, we are never really ready to say goodbye. Nana is waiting for him - like Steph said - I hope he goes peacefully.
He'll go when it's his right time ... and I hope, peacefully. It's harder on those left behind.
