It was important!

i dont ever remember any of the other 43 in my past.....glued to the TV for it.

WiLD!

we don't have that here an its sad.

Although, heres something I did find VERY interesting; the prayer. he prayed to God. WE/they aren't eve allowed to have that in schools anymore. yet it was all acceptable there........hmmmmmm.
I miss God in school.'I know some of you may not remember standing up and reciting the Lords prayer at the beginning of each school day.
WE had a few Witnesses.....they were 5 minutes late each day......
I miss God's presence in school. It meant somehting differnt for everybody. But at least it was something, somebody.........
I won't go into it.

I just miss God in school

i couldnt agree more Kristi! i too remember the Lord's prayer, the bible reading and the national anthem - we sang it with pride! now - on the odd ocassion that we do sing it - one could hear a pin drop - it is sad.
and did you notice, once they removed God, schools went to crap!?

Yup They sure did!

I said that yesterday while my boss and I were cleaning up from breakfast. I said there is no
Godly fear anymore and its sad.
he of course disagrees that God should be in school. But of course - when he went to school God was already gone. than he says you can't rule people by fear........
isn't that what you do every day Bully Boy!
besides the fact that Godly fear in school was not a bad fear. It was a healthy fear. Like having the fear that keeps you from driving off a cliff....
its a presence that makes us hold ourselves accountable

Our school does the national anthem every morning and they also do it in sign language, each child learns in kindergarten, they stand face the flag and put their hand over their heart. I miss God in schools too!
